Can you equate 3 and 2 by some mathematics logic?

See this illustration:

-6 = -6

9-15 = 4-10

adding 25/4 to both sides:

9-15+25/4 = 4-10+25/4

Changing the order

9+25/4-15 = 4+25/4-10

(this is just like a square + b square - two a b = (a-b)square.)

Here a = 3, b=5/2 for L.H.S and a =2, b=5/2 for R.H.S.

So it can be expressed as follows:

(3-5/2)(3-5/2) = (2-5/2)(2-5/2)

Taking positive square root on both sides:

3 - 5/2 = 2 - 5/2

3 = 2

Violation of math law is impossible.....We cannot take square root in this case. As square has two values.....we must choose that value which satisfies math las.

Hey but you can do like this

-12 = -12

9-21= 16-28

32-2x3x7/2= 42-2x4x7/2

adding 7/2 square on both side

32-2x3x7/2 + 7/22 = 42-2x4x7/2 + 7/22

now look the equation goes like this
a2-2ab+ b2 = a2-2ab + b2

now,
(3-7/2)2 = (4-7/2)2

now, square root on both side
(3-7/2) = (4-7/2)

now we can say that
3=4

Impossible. Violation of math law is impossible. Every square root has two solutions. So, you must take the value that satisfies math rule. Don't try to be over smart. This trick work only for primary level students.
